Our global retail food client who has won National Top Workplace for 6 years in a row is looking for a Search Manager to join their new and growing ecommerce team.

The Search Manager role will be fulltime, hybrid 3 days remote, 2 days in their Western Suburb office.

The Search Manager will manage the clients on-site search program, strategy and capabilities to improve results and increase conversion including:
- Improving and manipulating search results through boost and bury, ranking and scoring systems, algorithms, levers, managing synonyms and misspellings, and more
- Reviewing analytics, identifying trends, optimizing based on findings and sharing insights with merchandising team
- Coordinating with merchandising and marketing teams to boost items in the promotional rotation

The ideal Search Manager will have:
- Experience in the retail, ecommerce or merchandising and product management industry
- Knows how website search (vs google/bing) works and experience manipulating core algorithms
- Experience with product attributes and knows how copy pulls into search
- Working knowledge of search tools and analytics softwares like Spryker, Bloomreach, GroupBy, Lucidworks, SLI, adobe analytics (preferred), google analytics
