Our client, a global agency, is looking to hire a full-time Social Media Analyst/Listener, hybrid, onsite at their newly renovated office in Chicago (West Loop) 3 days a week and work from home 2 days a week. Vaccination is required.

Social listening experience is required.

The onsite days with the team (agency team and client team!) are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The team is currently fully remote for the month of January.

The ideal candidate is a social native, experienced at using listening tools to find community insights which can inform standout and relevant creative ideas.

This is a role for someone who likes to work closely with creative teams in a fast-moving environment, autonomous enough to take responsibility for listening and reporting across several brands, but collaborative when it comes to sharing learnings, best practice and ideas.

Social Media Analyst/Listener Responsibilities
Set up social listening across a number of well known beverage brands
Feed findings to the client and creative teams on a daily basis
Create and provide monthly and quarterly reports for clients that use data to help guide client teams through a narrative that includes what happened, why it happened, and the resulting data-driven recommendations
Create and provide adhoc reports surrounding key initiatives
Confidently present monthly and quarterly reports to clients, and be the point of contact for any social data-related inquiries

Social Media Analyst/Listener Qualifications
2+ years of experience doing social reporting and research
Experience with data visualization, social listening, and tools such as BrandWatch, Crimson Hexagon, UnMetric, and HootSuite
Advanced experience with Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint
Agency experience is ideal but not required
Ability to conduct strategy and wrap findings, based on social analysis, in a consumable presentation with an emphasis on narrative, insights, and recommendations
Experience conducting consumer insights research
Comfortable presenting interesting and high-energy reports both internally and externally
Comfortable balancing multiple workstreams, including multiple reporting deadlines
Able to advocate for the importance of data-based proof and the power of data-based insights
Self-driving with a track record of an entrepreneurial approach
