Our entertainment client is seeking a Technical Artist to join their game design and creative team in Austin.

The Technical Artist will be responsible for developing prototypes, plug-ins, tools, as well as character rigging.

Technical Artist Responsibilities:
-Create prototypes from teams game layout and design , which may require coding
-Create tools for the graphics team
-Meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
-Contribute to process improvement
-Create automation scripts and utilities that will aid the graphics team in production
- Demonstrate the game play concept and overall idea

Technical Artist Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, media art, art, or equivalent experience
- Portfolio required showcasing plug-ins and scripts developed
- 2-3 years of professional experience
-Scripting language knowledge such as C#, C++, LUA, Python, Mel Script
-Experience with JavaScript, PHP, HTML, or Flash helpful
-Use of latest Adobe products such as Photoshop and After Effect, Unity, and Maya

This is currently remote position with in-office requirements depending on skill level and department.
