Our client is hiring for a Content Production Assistant to start in the New Year!
This will be 40 hours per week, fully remote, but must work in Mountain Standard Timezone hours.
Schedule: 8-4 PM MST.
Must know:
- SEO
- WordPress
- Writing samples
What you will be doing as a Content Production Assistant:
• Take ownership of the content staging process in WordPress. This includes, but is not limited to, loading content into the WordPress editor, formatting content to match copy in Google Doc, light HTML coding (lists, links, etc), SEO tags and descriptions, and image editing
• Work with editors to ensure content is delivered on-time
• Light content editing as needed
• Writing opportunities may arise for qualified candidates
What you need to know as a Content Production Assistant:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred
• At least 1 year of experience using WordPress and WordPress plugins. This role requires knowledge of all aspects of WordPress, not just the content editor. Must know how to create layouts, pages, etc.
• Experience in writing and editing for blogs and websites
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and SEO writing
• Basic knowledge of image resizing and editing in Photoshop or other image editors
• General knowledge of HTML is a plus
• Knowledge of Workfront, Slack and Airtable is a plus
• Understanding of editorial process and AP style
• Knowledge of other content management systems, like Sitecore and/or Drupal, a plus
