Our client in the eCommerce space is hiring for an SEO Specialist, full time!

This will be onsite, 40 hours per week.

You must be an expert in SEO and SEO best practices for content purposes.

What you'll be doing as an SEO Specialist:
• You will collaborate with the Marketing, Design/UX, SEO, Merchandising, Customer Service, IT, and Exec teams to shape web content strategy and craft creative, engaging and relevant messaging that is targeted with helpful information and user-friendly calls to action.
• Write SEO friendly content that is targeted at the consumer, lead SEO strategy and implementation.
• Generate content and increase website visibility, traffic, rankings and revenue.
• Perform keyword research as well as on and off page SEO.
• You will be expected to generate unique ideas that speak to our audience. Your ideas will support product messaging, interaction flows, emails, brand storytelling, paid, and social campaigns that will rank in search.
• Understand the questions and problems our customers face, as well as the needs of our internal sales teams, to conceive and create content that helps educate and move potential customers through the funnel.
• Work with various teams to create high impact, brand building advertising creative.
• Work with our Email Marketing Specialist to create engaging emails that catch the eyes of new and returning customers.
• Be a general creative resource throughout the organization – always providing a creative spark, a new idea, or just a kind word to your teammates.
• Brainstorm with the teams on how to guide customers through the selection, ordering and payment processes.
• Be a customer advocate: You’ll dig into who our customers are and what language they use, then ensure our products speak their language and our content builds trust.

What you need to know as an SEO Specialist:

MUST be an expert in SEO principles + best practices

• 5+ years’ experience with digital content strategy, with 3 years writing eCommerce web and mobile content, preferably for interactive user experiences
• Proficient with SEO reporting and analytical tools, including Google Analytics, SEMRush, Moz, etc
• Comfortable managing multiple projects, setting expectations, working individually and collaborating across teams
• Experience in writing for B2C
• Demonstrated impact of content authored with results
• Exceptional writing, editing and proofing skills
• Corporate communications and brand marketing experience
