Our client is hiring an Email Marketing Specialist to join their team through the end of October with the possibility of extending. This will be fully remote, 40 hours per week.

What you will be doing as an Email Marketing Specialist:
- Work as part of the marketing team with assigned client groups in formulating, creating and coordinating email marketing strategies, to optimize open and response rates for email campaigns
- Assist in overseeing marketing campaign details ensuring milestones and timelines are met to launch approved email campaigns to targeted audiences in a timely manner
- Conduct various market research activities as assigned in the support of branding efforts and email marketing techniques and best practices
- Participate in the brainstorming and crafting of the strategies for the assigned client’s email marketing efforts, in coordination with the Marketing Project Specialists and other internal clients
- Serve as a daily contact between marketing partners and the email marketing team, regarding updates on activities and development of email campaigns
- Communicate succinctly and effectively with all marketing partners to assist in building effective relationships
- Assist in reviewing and proofreading email campaigns, in conjunction with marketing partners
- Coordinate and deploy email campaigns, and gather appropriate approvals before doing so
- Update and modify content as necessary, including, but not limited to copy and image based content in order to meet email best practices

What you need to know as an Email Marketing Specialist:
- 2+ years of digital marketing experience, preferably with email campaigns and analytics
- Prior experience in assisting with the execution of online marketing campaigns for a variety of audiences, and with project management, is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite specifically Excel
- Base knowledge of marketing principles and concepts
- Basic proficiency in graphic editing programs, multimedia platforms and basic computer processing
- Familiarity in using email marketing platforms (example: Salesforce Marketing Cloud) or willingness to learn
- JourneyBuilder is a plus
- Solid planning and organizational skills with good analytical skills and attention to detail
