Looking for a long-term contract with a well-known financial services client?

Our client is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join this rapidly growing team!

This role will be 40 hours a week for up to 18 months. This role is currently WFH due to COVID-19, but will go back ONSITE when deemed safe.

The Senior Technical Project Manager must have previous experience working in a matrix'd organization, be adaptable to various communication styles and can bring consultative value on the projects they lead. The projects in this organization scope budgets at $1 million+.

Senior Technical Project Manager Responsibilities:
* Oversee and direct large-scale projects of a complex nature that involve numerous internal and external contacts
* Manage all aspects of a project life cycle
* Building budgets and managing the financial reporting, variances and recaps.
* Ensure all that all projects are completed in alignment with time, cost (including financial forecasts and cost assumptions) and quality parameters initially established
* Define and track project milestones
* Track Agile development milestones, while partnering with Product Owners and Scrum Masters

Senior Technical Project Manager Requirements:
* Must have 8+ years in a Project Manager capacity managing large, complex IT projects based in the technology/development space
* Have PMI artifact knowledge
* Proven ability to mobilize teams, set direction and resolve conflict with grace
* Previous experience working in an AGILE environment
* Have experience managing the projects, the budgets, the teams, tactics and driven an end result.

Program Requirements:
* Experience working with JIRA or Confluence
* Building financial reports and trackers in Excel and PowerPoint
