Our CPG client is hiring a Print Production Manager with 4+ years experience. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Hybrid WFH and onsite flex schedule.

In this role, the Print Production Manager you will be instrumental in producing and managing the production of product labels, packaging, and in-store marketing displays and materials. Cross-functionally working with multiple teams and is responsible for facilitating effective routing and reviewing of projects through the department.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the catalog of EPA regulated press-ready labels and packaging that are in-market, in government review and working through our regulatory process. Catalog will also require documentation on printing specs for every products label/ package
- Prepare design and layout files for internal reviews, regulatory submissions, and final print production
- Managing production artist resources and design agency deliverable timelines to meet critical deadlines for regulatory submissions and final printing production
- Provide print production expertise in working with printing vendors, internal procurement, and supply chain project managers
- Project manage obtaining approvals from various internal stakeholder before releasing files for regulatory submission and final print production.

Qualifications/ Skill Sets:
- 4+ years experience in print production expertise within an EPA or FDA regulated CPG company or printing company environment
- Strong negotiating and project management skills and the ability to maintain schedules and budgets for all pre-press and printed materials on various substrates
- Expert color analysis skills and extensive experience working pre-press with an eye towards quality and detail
- Facilitation of brand teams art and copy change direction, ensuring accurate interpretation and follow-through on multiple assets and versions
- Extensive knowledge of software to review and edit files in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Must also have in-depth familiarity with large and small format lithography, offset and on-site inkjet printing, and specialty finishing techniques. On-press experience and expertise in all aspects of production is expected
- Comfortable with determining specs for estimating and/or competitively bidding all projects. Ability to maintain budgets for printing projects; communicating any obstacles that would require additional funding; aiding in negotiations with suppliers as necessary to assist our internal procurement teams
- During peak launch and refresh periods, evening and weekend work may be required. The candidate must also be willing to travel to perform press checks on short notice
