Our retail client is looking for a Senior Public Relations + Communications candidate to join their team onsite in a Senior Associate, Corporate Communication role in March/April.

The Senior Associate, Corporate Communication will develop and execute comprehensive communications plans in support of the client's business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering external communication plans, measurement and reporting with support of PR Manager
Develop strong relationships across different business units, and at times, own the plan, management and execution of a project or tactic.
Deliver communications in support of key time periods or initiatives including major holidays, partnerships, etc.
Establishes relationships with leaders from various business functions and provide strategic insights used in maximizing communication efforts
Responsible for execution of specific campaign tactics within specified budget, timelines and allocated resources
Develops talking points for client's spokespeople, such as executives, store managers and merchants
Coordinates media opportunities and reporting analysis
Works with team members to write, edit and execute content for PR programs including; writing press releases, proactively pitching news stories, arranging interviews with print, broadcast and online media in the best interest of the company
Trendspotter, identifying proactive opportunities or brand risks
On top of media trends, new influencers and business-relevant topics
Monitors media, including analyzing social listening data, to build timely, actionable measurement reports.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
4+ years professional experience with 2 years experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines consistently
Deep experience writing, editing and proofreading, including AP Style
Experience with, crisis management, DEI, sustainability, community relations, store operations, ethics & governance
Worked directly with business partners, agencies and other third parties
Established media relationships
Very organized, executive comms, be a spokesperson, proven decision maker, work under pressure and willing to learn
