Our Retail-Tech client is seeking a REMOTE Database Marketing Manager with marketing database and data toolsets (SAS) for a Direct-Hire role starting June 2022!

In this role, the Database Marketing Manager drives the database strategy supporting customer segmentation and multi-channel integrated marketing campaign development. A gig focus will be driving year over marketing strategies improvement in customer engagement, retention, acquisition, LTV and ROI.

Database Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
- Directly manages the marketing databases and toolsets (SAS CI Studio) delivering state of the art cross-channel campaigns and real time decision programs driving consumer response.
- Thought leader in leveraging specific marketing data to identify key client targets for marketing communications (Email, Direct Mail, Calling, Interactive/Digital, Web, etc.).
- Advanced understanding of industry best practice in interactive marketing and direct-to-consumer marketing channels. Critical member of cross functional teams and with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Expertise in marketing analytics and statistical measurement of marketing programs.
- Analysis, insights and recommendations will impact changes in campaign strategy and improved marketing effectiveness.
- Ensure adherence of marketing plans and programs with overall corporate strategy and objectives through various channels and working with large data sets.
- Develop use cases for marketing programs at the proposal stage and make recommendations on marketing tactics.

Database Marketing Manager Qualifications:
- Experience in a growth, software, or data engineering role.
- Proficient in object oriented programming languages and their respective standard data processing libraries.
- Strong experience in relational databases, SQL, and data warehouses.
- Experienced in integrating data from core platforms like Marketing Automation, CRM, and Analytics into a centralized warehouse. Knowledge of Salesforce CRM, digital media platforms and Adobe Analytics is a big plus.
- Experienced in integrating and aggregating media and spend data from advertising partners and platforms into databases, warehouses, and marketing systems.
- Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other best practices.
