Our Video Platform Client is in need of a Social Media Manager to join their team full-time direct hire! This role is offsite, with occasional meetings onsite.

As a Social Media Manager you will be responsible for:
• Having fun creating and guiding the creation of a diverse range of social media content, blog posts, social posts, video content

• Managing the content creation calendar and organization of workflows

• Working with marketing and product teams to ensure your written social and blog posts are covering their campaigns properly

• Working with marketing team to ensure your content aligns with the brand persona, editorial voice, and SEO best practices

• Hosting a live blog (on camera) and writing the blog

• Working with customer acquisition and sales team to write and oversee social campaigns, promotions, and strategies that drive traffic, engagement, leads, deliver sales and customer retention for customers and partners

• Fostering relationships and conversations with industry thought leaders, influencers, and social media community members

To qualify for this role, you need to have:
• 1-3 years of hands-on social content creation and management

• Exceptional writing, grammar and creative copywriting skills tailored for social content

• Outgoing and fun personality that is comfortable taking the lead and being on camera as needed for a live blog

• Proficiency in social media publishing and data driven social media experience

• Content marketing software and marketing automation expertise a plus!

• Video editing and/or graphic design skills a plus!


This full-time role is completely remote, however, the ideal candidate is open to occasional onsite check-ins with the team in the Peninsula area!
