Our fashion retail client is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to cover a maternity leave. This is a 40-hour per contract that will run 3-4 months. You should be based in Austin and willing to travel to their Triangle State office.

The Social Media Manager will be leading the charge for social media strategy leading up to and throughout the busy holiday season (think Black Friday!). Note that this is a completely strategic role and there will be no content creation involved.

+ Develop brands day-to-day social strategy supporting launches, promotions, etc. for all brand social media platforms
+ Handle all posting and execution across all channels
+ Work closely with creative department to request all social media assets
+ Align with channel partners to ensure delivery of relevant content that aligns with email and promotional strategy
+ Community management; supervise brand channels to keep tabs on customer sentiment and escalate necessary queries to customer care team
+ Maintain messaging calendar
+ Deliver preview of social assets on a weekly basis to VP of Brand Marketing and SVP of Creative

+ 5+ years of experience in Social Media Management / Strategy
+ Proven experience managing Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn accounts
+ Portfolio / examples of work and outcomes
+ Fashion or retail experience is highly preferred
