Our international event agency client is seeking an Event Program Manager to join their team full-time in a permanent direct hire role in Walnut Creek!

You must have an excellent project management/client facing background, event logistics and planning background, as well as extensive AV/technical knowledge.

As an Event Program Manager, you will work with the operations team on:
• Advising the AV/technical production requirements across the full portfolio of client events
• Leading the AV/technical production for all pitch work within the business
• Negotiating contracts with AV/technical production suppliers
• Working with the internal team and suppliers to bring this concept to life across all aspects of an event
• Managing the project/production team, and being the client contact to ensure the project stays on track, on time and on budget
• Ability to design event production packages that suit all event types; from small meetings to large conferences
• Working closely with webcast and mobile app providers to ensure all technical requirements are met across projects

You have experience in:
• AV/Technical Production: creation of AV/technical briefs, industry knowledge & contacts, conducting technical site visits, liaison with AV companies
• Ability to design and create a technical production package for a program of events
• Senior stakeholder management, team management, and supplier management, with a focus on operational excellence
• Complex program management; being the lead across multiple projects with the ability to manage multiple event delivery teams
• Multi-budget management with values exceeding $1M+
• Working alongside an Account Director to manage the client relationship and development of client accounts
