Our finance client is in search of a copy editor for a full-time, direct-hire role. This will be two days remote / three days per week in Olympia (Tues, Wed, + the other day is your choice). There is not a firm date for being onsite, but it will likely be sometime in the fall (dependent on COVID / Delta variant, etc.).

In this role, you will be part of their marketing department and be responsible for ensuring the consistency of our client's brand voice, adhering to standards of quality, and delivering content that is compelling to read across various channels and mediums. This will include editing for spelling, capitalization, abbreviations, hyphenation, rewriting wordy copy, verifying facts, considering layout, and more.

The ideal copy editor will:
- have 3+ years of copy editing experience in a marketing department
- have experience giving constructive feedback to writers + fact-checking content
- be fluent with the AP style and have experience working with other internal style guides
- have experience editing a mix of campaign and communication collateral
- be detailed-oriented and have a sharp eye to ensure that our content is free of errors
- have knowledge of SEO best practices
- have excellent project management and problem-solving skills
