Our startup, healthy living lifestyle client needs a Senior Email Marketing Manager to join their team on a full-time basis, onsite in San Francisco.

The Senior Email Marketing Manager will partner with stakeholders, to develop email strategies to support overall company objectives for acquisition, retention, brand and product. This role is accountable for key email metrics such as open, click through, conversion rates, and revenue.

-Develop email marketing strategies to support key business priorities including CRM goals such as acquisition, engagement and retention, as well as new product launches and seasonal marketing campaigns
- Establish and own channel-level goals
- Communicate performance results to leadership on a regular basis
- Develop email marketing calendar to support strategy
- Optimize engagement and conversion rates through the development of a continuous testing road map
-Evaluate new opportunities for customer segmentation and personalization
- Partner with creative team and copywriters to develop high-performing, brand-enhancing email campaigns
- Collaborate with product and marketing managers for campaign and product-related communications
- Own the relationship with engagement platform; effectively leverage its ability to deliver on the communication strategy
- Manage Email Marketing Manager or Coordinator
- Drive campaign execution including customer segmentation, testing protocol, and technical execution.

Education and Experience
- 5-7 years of marketing experience with 5+ years focused on campaign management and email nurturing
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Email marketing automation software (Making edits within HTML should be second nature to you)
- Experience managing and mentoring direct reports
- Experience managing large projects within cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of how Acquisition and Engagement Marketing
- Proven ability to set up A/B testing as it pertains to email marketing
- Passionate about data. Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Email Service Provider (ESP) implementation experience - BA/BS degree
