Internal Communications Coordinator - WFH Flexible

Our SaaS client is looking for an internal communications coordinator to assist with implementing an intranet. This position is at least until early 2022, with the potential to convert, 40 hours per week. This position is WFH through Covid, and then will be onsite in Seattle.

In this role you will be responsible for:
-support intranet implementation timeline, helping to coordinate phased rollout of major departments’ intranet sites.
- partner with teams across Avalara to write, edit, and curate engaging intranet copy.
- manage the overall intranet editorial calendar, and ensure content is relevant, fresh, and visually appealing.
- assist in developing and maintaining training materials for site managers and content authors.
Coordinate regular trainings and meetings of site managers and content authors.
- help to establish an intranet champion network.
- help manage day-to-day intranet operations, responding to questions from site managers, content authors, and other stakeholders in a timely fashion.
- contribute to writing, editing, and distribution of content across diverse channels including intranet, email, social media, Slack, etc.
- provide content development and project management

Must Haves
- 2+ Years in the workforce
- Bachelor's degree
- internal or external comms experience
- experience with at least one of the following - project management, database management, intranet management
