Calling all shopper marketing strategists who are experienced in eCommerce shopper marketing! Our agency client is looking for a shopper marketing strategist to join their team.

This is a direct-hire role that will either be fully remote or hybrid based on where candidate is located. If candidate is fully remote, some travel may be required.

The shopper marketing strategist will be responsible for:
- Functioning as the subject matter expert on: in-store retailer environments (Target, Walmart, etc.), eComm (Amazon, Shopify, etc.) and digital strategies for digital shelf, content, search, social commerce, mobile, email and paid media
- Gathering and synthesizing data that shows insights that inform strategy development to demonstrate a seamless path-to-purchase leveraging in-depth understanding of retailers and what is possible within each retailers marketing ecosystem (in-store and online)
- Executing competitive landscape assessments, personas, journey maps and strategic territories, and omni-channel strategies
- Monitoring commerce, retailer trends and following industry news in order to provide thought leadership with cross-functional agency and client teams
- Developing creative briefs that act as a springboard for the creative process
- Clearly articulating and presenting strategies
- Evaluating the success and impact of marketing initiatives, setting KPIs and report on program results.
- Collaborate with account, design, global strategy team
- Contributing to thought leadership & developing internal sales materials

The shopper marketing strategist must have:
- Passion for creating in-store and digital shopper marketing activations at key retailers like Amazon, Target and Walmart.
- Understanding of the complexity of various retailer marketing ecosystems and savvy in architecting omni-channel campaigns that creatively connect brand, retailer and shoppers across the path to purchase.
- 6 years experience in the industry; some agency experience
- Experience with creating shopper marketing strategies for in-store and also eCommerce
- Experience working with online retailers like Amazon, Target and Walmart
- Passion for brands and shoppers
- Experience in executing competitive landscape assessments, personas, journey maps and strategic territories, and omni-channel strategies
- Bachelors degree in advertising, marketing, or other related field
- Experience with a wide range of categories including CPG, food/ beverage/wine/spirits, technology, CPG/toy/retailer preferred
- Familiarity with Keynote, Apple OS, Microsoft Office
