Our client, a nonprofit, behavioral change, public health company, is looking for a Sr. Digital Strategist to join their team full-time.

As the Sr. Digital Strategist you will serve as our in-house expert and leader on all things paid media and social strategy. This role will be broken in to 3 parts: 50% Paid Media Strategy & Execution, 35% Multi-Channel Strategy, 15% Management & Team Building.

This Sr. Digital Strategist will:
Paid Media Strategy and Execution - 50%
- Strategize and execute paid digital media campaigns across paid social, search, ad networks and placements
- Managing budgets up to a few $100k/month
- Oversee the work of more junior staff and contractors
- Design and collaborate paid media components of marketing/communication strategies to reach goals/objectives
- Standardize how to approach and resource work
- Implement best practices to reach ad objectives and campaign outcomes
- Recommend and monitor paid media budgets for campaigns to ensure tracking within allocated budgets.
- Track internal and external performance reporting for client deliverables and internal campaign optimization
- Provide support with survey recruitment initiatives that utilize social media recruitment for data collection
- Serve as a subject matter expert for paid media components of proposal development and for providing technical guidance

Multi-Channel Strategy - 35%
- Maintain updated understanding of best practices, features, strategies, and tactics for all social channels
- Develop and communicate multi-channel tactical strategies that accelerate the impact of campaigns and programs
- Contribute to content strategy, based on the campaign marketing priorities and broader cultural trends
- Collaborate on creative needs (from ideation to approval) for all channels
- Define user segments, UX, and web deliverables to align with each campaigns multichannel strategy and tactical objectives
- Help monitor performance against target needs and KPIs and contribute to regular reporting, learning's, and opportunities for innovation and growth
- Oversee third-party agencies responsible for social media management of campaign social accounts
- Proactively recommend actionable ideas that improve performance and campaigns

Management and Team-Building - 15%
- Manage and mentor paid media and digital content staff to deliver on client needs
- Provide training and development opportunities, such as Lunch & Learn presentations
- Anticipate and recommend staffing needs for projects
- Foster a collaborative team culture

This Sr. Digital Strategist needs:
- 5+ years professional marketing, digital marketing and/or branding experience
- 1+ years of management experience required
- Strong background in planning and implementing digital paid media campaigns
- Organizational skills supporting multiple projects/deadline
- Experience managing both campaign performance and internal operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise in third-party paid media, digital marketing, and analytics platforms/tools: Facebook Business Manager and Audience Insights, TikTok Ads Manager, YouTube Ads, Google Display Network, Google Analytics/Data Studio
- Experience working in other digital marketing platforms, such as Figma; Sprout Social or similar social management platform; Canva; Mailchimp, Marketo or other email marketing platforms, influencer marketing platforms such as Grin or Upfluence
- Facebook Social Issue Ad Certification and/or Google Certification(s) strongly preferred
