Marketing Automation Manager

Our client is a major medical device company looking for Marketing Automation Manager to join their team on a
40hrs a week freelance basis with the opportunity to convert to a full-time position!

Marketing Automation Manager Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and execute marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, preference, and market share to payors
- Own and drive Marketing Automation strategy and tactical execution of digital campaigns for Channel and Product Marketing funnels
- Increase engagement by creating multi-touch campaigns, including the use of email, Paid Social campaigns, in-app messaging, landing pages, SMS, and triggered sales tasks
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to oversee intake, scoping, capacity planning, and execution workflows for all campaigns originating in Marketo
- Manage program assets, in collaboration with Brand Team and Creative Support, across multiple channels to support Marketing Automation tactics
- Establish and maintain data integrations/connection needs to maximize cross-channel campaigns between Marketo, Microsoft (CRM), and 1st part/ 3rd party apps
- Own Marketing Automation/CRM data and ROI reporting, sharing results with the team (through dashboards and other methods) that will help drive further optimization
- Build and manage a preference center that will serve as the single source of truth for communication preferences across CRM
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements

Marketing Automation Manager Requirements:
- 5+ years of related experience
- 3+ years of experience building integrated campaigns via a major CRM platform like or Microsoft Dynamics
- 1-3+ years of recent direct experience with Marketo
- Marketo Certified Expert or similar certification preferred
- Experience in marketing in the healthcare space (to managed care payor, third party networks, and preferred provider organizations) a plus
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Ability to navigate and build integrations in Marketo's API
- Knowledge of Java, CSS and HTML for email template creation, and SQL
- Experience in managing account configurations (Configuring Roles and Business Units)
- Troubleshoot issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, deliverability tracking and other aspects of email execution
- Strong writing skills with the ability to create documentation for both business and technical stakeholders
- Able to think critically and exercise independent judgment and discretion
- Excellent attention to detail
