Our client a higher education client, is looking for a Website Manager to join through the end of the year with potential to convert to fulltime in 2022

This will start off as a remote, 40/hrs a week opportunity.

This Website Manager will manage the development of web projects from inception to live online deployment. You will collaborate with stakeholders on scope of web-based projects, lead teams in the development of web products, and prepare project status reports.

Website Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage website projects & web assets around web-based work
- Oversee site accessibility & performance, including Full website builds
- Consult with internal stakeholders to determine website's desired appearance and functionality's
- Conceptualize website design process and lead the IT development team
- Develop user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces
- Perform SEO procedures
- Integrate images, embedding videos, and adding plugins
- Troubleshoot and test prototypes
- Monitor the live deployment of the product
- Perform Common Gateway Interface (CGI) and code checks to optimize website performance
- Provide mentorship to junior developers and facilitating suitable interventions to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Document website development processes / procedures
- Prepare project progress updates for senior executives and performing website demonstrations
- Stay current of developments and trends in website design
- Collaborate with marketing / IT teams on the website's conceptualization
- Guide team through the product development stages
- Oversee the live deployment of website

Technical Project Management Requirements:
- BA in computer science with coursework in graphic design, web development, or similar
- 4+ years? experience in web project management
- Extensive knowledge of advancements and trends in web design
- Advance proficiency in programming languages, such as JavaScript, HTML, or PHP
- Exceptional ability to contribute creativity and innovation to web projects
- Superb leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Extensive experience in website design
- Ability to lead web development initiatives
- Expertise in web design translates into an innovative online presence
- Has project management approach
- Strong understanding of SEO & CRO
- Manage site?s CMS, report site KPIs
- Results-driven leader guiding the development of website
