Our global electronics client in Plano is looking for a Marketing Manager! This REMOTE freelance assignment starts July 5 for 6 months, 40 hours per week, and will be onsite once restrictions are lifted.

The Marketing Manager leads the research of market conditions in local, regional, or national areas to determine marketing sales strategies for products and/or services. This role also focuses on strategy for marketing and product distribution.

Marketing Manager Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 6+ years' brand/product/communications/channel marketing experience
- Consumer-facing retailer, carrier, ecommerce company
- Strong end-to-end project management skills
- Strong written / verbal communications / presentation skills

Marketing Manager Responsibilities
- Research local, national, international factors affecting the buying and selling of certain products and services
- Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies along with advertising and promotion managers
- Develop and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies
- Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends
- Resolve problems with Legal on copyright infringement and royalty sharing with outside producers and distributors
- Develop pricing strategies
- Direct hiring, training, performance evaluations and oversight of marketing and sales staff
- Evaluate financial aspects of product development (budgets, expenditures, R&D, ROI, P&L projections)
