Junior UX Designer - Fully Remote/Off-site

Rate Up to $35/hr.
Our online education client has an immediate need for a REMOTE freelance Junior UX Designer. This will be 40 hours a week and could have the potential to go Full Time for the right fit.

You will be working closely with creative leadership, product managers, project managers, business stakeholders, and development teams to make certain there is a clear understanding of the designed experience and maximum user value is achievable.

As part of the Global Creative team, you will be working in a collaborative, agile environment to deliver exceptional experiences across K-12 educational products for learners, educators, and administrators.

Responsibilities:
• Handle production elements on UI/UX projects.
• Develop UX mock-ups and prototypes.
• Work with the UX Leads during brainstorming sessions and whiteboarding sessions
• Maintain and develop style standards on fonts, colors, and images.
• Handle versioning of UX products and rapid prototypes
• Take direction from the UX Leads on changes that need to be made throughout the process
• Helping with UX Research like user interviews and usability testing as needed
• Identifying areas of opportunity alongside the team to improve the product
• Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability) within the constraints of existing products and their technical design.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required; aligned certification may be considered
• Adobe XD
• Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• An understanding or experience with HTML, CSS jQuery, JavaScript, and are a plus
• Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Teams


Personal laptop/computer required but licenses will be provided as needed.
