Our global media client is looking for a Digital Product Designer! This REMOTE, freelance assignment starts in June, and will continue (40 hours per week) for 12 month.

The Digital Product Designer will help define the vision for innovative new features for the client's ecommerce projects, products and initiatives across their content platforms. This role also requires owning and driving the craftsmanship for every interaction and visual design detail.

We're looking for a proactive, accountable leader who draws on information architecture, multi-step flows, motion and more to build holistic experiences.

Digital Product Designer Requirements
• Strong portfolio showing visual design, interaction design, prototyping and product thinking expertise
• Experience leading entire user-centered design process
• Proficiency in software to create design concepts, prototypes, assets and specifications
• Illustration, photography, animation, data visualization, user interview, front-end dev or data science skills a plus

Digital Product Designer Responsibilities
• Turn broad, ambiguous user and business challenges into clear, valuable and joyful solutions
• Connect user research and data insights to design decisions at every stage of development
• Incorporate best practices across multiple platforms and device types
• Deliver consistent, polished and balanced layouts, through typography, color and visual hierarchy
• Use prototypes as foundational piece of design process
• Solve user problems in creative ways beyond the expected
• Present designs clearly and confidently
• Collaborate on a design system that supports design and engineering processes
• Mentor and give feedback with humor, patience and compassion to teammates and cross-functional partners
