Our client, a global pharmaceutical brand in Plano is looking for an Instructional Designer! This REMOTE, freelance assignment starts February 15 and will continue for at least 6 months (40 hours per week).
In this role the Instructional Designer will work on two major projects: conversion of Flash courses in Adobe Captivate to Articulate Storyline as well as updating of technical manuals and documents.
Instructional Designer Requirements
• 5+ years' experience in training / instructional design
• Solid written and verbal skills
• Proficient in Adobe Captivate, Articulate Stroyline, Adobe InDesign
• Health care industry experience preferred not required
Instructional Designer Responsibilities
• Convert current courses in Adobe Captivate to Articulate Storyline
• Update technical manuals and documents in Adobe InDesign
• Collect content as needed to update courses/manuals
• Collaborate with training project manager on instructional design output review (curriculum outlines and descriptions; training programs; workbooks, manuals, job aids, teaching aids and other print media; train-the-trainer materials and aids; coaching kits; assessments and evaluations; storyboards for CBT/WBT; learning games/activities; course descriptions; ID templates; ID methodology standards)
