Do you have a background in sales and marketing? Our nonprofit client has a need for a Full Time Director of Marketing and Sales.
This role is FULLY REMOTE and does require up to 50% travel that consists mostly of day trips, but can require some overnight stays.
The Director of Marketing and Sales must have a Bachelor's degree and prior management experience. In this role, the Director of Marketing and Sales must have strong retention and be able to catch on quickly to new concepts. This role does require experience working within or with sales teams.
The Director of Marketing and Sales will be creating and leading a marketing strategy as well as doing the following:
50%- Strategy and Execution
- Help identify new account targets within the education vertical and work with the team members on how to identify the right people to talk to
- Establish and build long-lasting relationships with new and existing accounts in the education vertical
- Enable the field to sell-in new programs to target accounts
- Manage budget funds and provide review for marketing programs
- Drive the external marketing programs to ensure the audiences understand the value provided
- Provide reports and work with teams to see areas of opportunity
- Maintain multiple projects at once and be able to delegate when needed
50%- Team Management
- Mentor and develop existing team members and new members as the team grows
- Embody the foundation of the organization and drive the team to think holistically about how marketing and relationships coexist
- Develop accountability metrics and employee performance system
- Encourage team and collaboration across the groups
- Be able to lead meetings and initiatives across the company
