Our tech focused agency partner is looking for an Account Director to join their rapidly growing team!

This is a direct full time hire position. The client would prefer someone work onsite in Portland, OR 2-3 days a week, but will consider fully remote candidates only in CA, IL, or OR. The Account Director will be focused on a variety of disciplines including PR, social media, and advertising for B2B tech clientele.

- Plan and execute strategic PR programs, social media programs for brands and executives, and integrated programs across multiple service areas
- Develop plans and goals and set quarterly/yearly metrics based on our goals and anecdotal program performance
- Oversee reporting, analysis and program optimization
- Lead status/strategy calls with clients; manage client relationships; oversee integrated programs
- Guide junior staff and direct reports on daily responsibilities
- Oversee financial management and time forecasting for your portfolio of accounts
- Be the primary client contact for strategic counsel, while elevating and guiding your teams toward leading strategy themselves
- Conduct and direct the team on media pitching and placement for announcements, launches, and active storytelling outreach
- Understand the media landscape and actively monitor for new opportunities, guiding the team to ensure client-specific media lists are on target and continuously updated
- Ensure your teams establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and media
- Secure and manage briefings and schedules, and serve as clients' PR representative during briefings as needed
- Manage writing/editing of PR materials and other content
- Manage social media strategy and oversee your team's execution

This Account Director must have:
- 5+ years of experience in PR/social media/advertising
- experience with strategic PR and organic social media strategy
- agency experience
- B2B tech client experience
