Our sports apparel retail client seeks a Assistant Marketing Manager to join their team in this 6 month role!

This role will be hybrid onsite in Portland.

This Assistant Marketing Manager will be:
- Support the planning and implementation of traffic driving initiatives and in-store activations.
- Brief creative for CRM, app, activations, and mall marketing.
- Support execution of activations including new store openings, promotions grassroots
marketing and ongoing campaign execution.
- Drive creative approval process and share feedback as needed.
- Create and post store directives for marketing initiatives.
- Support with campaign precaps and recaps for partners.
- Support seasonal planning process, including monthly briefings and go-to-market
milestones.

This Assistant Marketing Manager will be:
- Experienced project management skills
- Innovative mindset, and understanding of consumer motivations
-2+ years of relevant experience
- Understanding of sporting goods industry and related retail channels a plus
- Ability and willingness to travel by car and air domestically
- Proficiency with MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Smartsheet a plus
