Our CPG client is hiring a Senior Copywriter to work on a 9 + month gig!

As Senior Copywriter, you'll:
- Lead and generate impactful copy and content that delivers on and adheres to the brand vision, tone and brand standards while ensuring consistency
- Presents copy concepts, serving as copy subject matter expert in formal meetings with senior and management level team members, for copy review and approval
- Bring ideas and copy to life across a wide scope of unique projects through innovation and collaboration with peers and internal business teams
- Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with peers, internal business teams and external agencies
- Apply deep and demonstrated experience in writing for a broad range of deliverables that include paid, earned and owned channels that include: signing, print, email, DM, social and digital
- Successfully use skills and knowledge to create compelling themes, ideas and copy that are on brand, and meet or exceed business objectives
- Partner with writing and design peers, along with implementation to deliver on the brief and project expectations and ensure execution of ideas and copy as planned
- Support work as assigned by CD and ACD

The ideal Senior Copywriter for this role has:
- Minimum 5 years of working as a writer with an additional 2 years of experience in a senior writer position at a creative design firm, agency and/or corporate environment
- Proven track record as a Sr. Writer, with a portfolio filled with examples of how their contributions assisted in the development of breakthrough creative
- Ability to lead and generate impactful creative ideas and executions that deliver and adhere to the brand vision and brand standards while ensuring consistency
- Constantly evolving knowledge of contemporary writing and marketing trends
- Strong writing and editing skills, including knowledge of proper punctuation, spelling and grammar
- Demonstrates solid capability with writing for both long, and short form copy
- Ability to understand a marketing brief and translate the input into ideas
- Have the ability to sell creative ideas
- Knowledge of digital, print and video production
- Ability to demonstrate a passion for strategic and creative problem solving and deep understanding of design
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Well organized and able to communicate ideas and develop strategies
- Strong team player with enthusiasm, positive attitude and the willingness to do what it takes to get the job done, which may include extended hours when necessary to meet deadlines
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- Technical skills include the Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office and proficient on a Mac
