Paid Social Media and Search Specialist

Our client, a boutique digital agency, is looking for a hands on, client facing Paid Social Media and Search Specialist to join their team full-time (onsite preferred in NYC 2 days a week or fully remote, working EST hours).

The hiring manager is also hands on and has a background that is strong in search so the ideal Paid Social Media and Search Specialist can bring paid social media experience to the role (the duties of this role skew slightly more to social vs. SEM).

Responsibilities
Take day-to-day ownership of all aspects of assigned accounts including client, agency and vendor communication as well as campaign budgeting, strategy, creation and optimization; this role is hands-on execution
Manage campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn (additional platform experience are a bonus)
Develop successful strategies (with the guidance of Digital Supervisor and Director) to exceed campaign expectations, based on client goals
Accurately launch, manage, and execute campaigns in Bid Management platforms, ensuring targeting, tracking and copy support client objectives
Work collaboratively with counterparts across Data and Analytics, Media Buying Operations, Media Partnerships, and Digital Integration departments to ensure a unified approach to client success
Organize data into actionable insights and learnings
Provide bulletproof recommendations that factor in campaign goals, historical performance, benchmarks, as well as potential issues

Qualifications
3+ years of related experience in a Paid Digital Media role
Well-versed in performance marketing KPIs, conversion, and online customer acquisition
In-depth understanding of campaign success metrics: conversions, pacing, target CPAs, etc. required
Proficiency in the following platforms required: Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google AdWords, YouTube
Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments required
Familiarity setting up brand lift study campaigns across social media platforms required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required

This position directly supervises a Digital Media Coordinator and Digital Media Specialist and will be asked to provide mentorship to the team (if a leadership role is desired, this position could grow into that!).

Leadership experience is not required but the desired to mentor is necessary.
