Our client, a software development company that is re-imagining urban mobility, is seeking a Brand Strategist / Manager to join their team as a full time employee.

**Please note: this client currently has a hybrid work schedule. You must be comfortable going into the client's office in Long Island City 4 days / week. A laptop will be provided to you!**

The Brand Strategist / Manager will:

- Drive the execution of world-class integrated marketing plans and campaigns and deliver brand impact and growth
- Define and articulate the value proposition, and track adoption for our rider, driver, and B2B products
- Work with the in-house graphic designer and internal stakeholders to develop and create original content and design assets for for newsletters, social media, digital campaigns, one pagers, event materials, partnerships, etc.
- Conceptualize, own and implement key brand projects to create and communicate the visual brand identity and key storytelling opportunities
- Uncover new areas of opportunity and leverage findings to scale communication channels and platform
- Define long-term vision for affiliate partnerships, measure, track, and enhance its success
- Leverage internal and external creative and content resources to both drive results and communicate the brand effectively across all platforms
- Be responsible for creative writing and sourcing newsworthy information for rider, driver, and B2B newsletters
- Provide event support & attendance for key trade events and networking opportunities (both in-person and virtual)
- Support the development of the social media strategy and associated content calendars for all channels, as well as project-specific channels
- Manage all marketing collateral and maintain a well-labelled archive of past collateral, creative and marketing assets
- Influence all departments and properties to ensure consistent and elevated brand presentation of the brand and its live projects
- Support the development of email marketing strategy and EDM deployment, both to external database, and key internal stakeholders
- Manage 3rd party agencies

The Brand Strategist / Manager must:

- Have at least 3 years of professional work experience in a marketing role
- Previous in-house experience is preferred
- Have proven product marketing experience as well as a creative skillset (design for organic social, writing, content creation, etc.)
- Have proven experience with asset creation (paid ads, email, paid social, organic social, decks, one sheets, flyers, posters, etc.)
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Google Office Suite, Canva, Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, Squarespace, Wordpress, MailChimp, etc.
- Excellent short-form and long-form copywriting skills, tailoring copy and communication to different audiences as needed
- Have a track record of delivering successful growth and engagement, backed by numbers and relevant references
- Have excellent project management and interpersonal skills with the ability to balance rigorous attention to detail with swift execution
- Be proactive, resourceful, intellectually curious, unflappable
- Thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment
- Understand digital and social best practices and limitations
- Be comfortable working with and managing 3rd party agency relationships
- Be comfortable working in a startup-like environment and wearing many hats
- Be a problem-solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills
