UX Designer with UI Skills

Our luxury real estate client is looking for a UX Designer w/ UI skills to join their growing Product Team. This is a freelance to full-time opportunity.

While this is mostly a Remote role, but it requires onsite meetings 6-8 times per year in their NYC offices.

Must provide examples of launched products for web and mobile platforms.

As the UX Designer w/ UI skills, you will be the sole UX/UI Designer working on projects that span across all of the company's products and working cross functionally with the engineering and marketing teams.

The UX Designer w/ UI skills will be responsible for:
- identifying problems and opportunities to drive UX projects from concept to implementation
- creating content and experience audits, interview and testing plans and reports
- defining and creating product experiences that meet and exceed the needs of users
- solving problems through the development of design solutions
- conducting user research, creating usability reports and using this information to create designs and prototypes for user testing and UX improvements
- creating user stories, personas, sitemaps, use cases, user scenarios and journeys, user flows, wireframes, interaction flows, mockups, prototypes, taxonomy and nomenclature, content outlines, migration plans, functional annotations and specs, and a sophisticated visual design for all projects
- maintain web content
- present strategy and design to key stakeholders and leadership teams

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in digital products and mobile apps
- proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, Adobe Acrobat, Keynote, InvisionApp, Principle, HTML5, CSS3, HTML & CSS
- experience working with Agile processes
- a portfolio that shows excellent storytelling skills with a sophisticated conceptual visual design aesthetic
- a strong understanding of qualitative research and data and how it informs design decisions
- understanding of digital accessibility best practices and guidelines
- able to speak to your thought processes on solving problems through design choices
- a strong communicator with a POV and collaborator who works well with others
- a clean, sleek design aesthetic
- luxury brand experience a plus
