Our client is seeking a Social Media Marketing Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate has knowledge and a passion for pets / health / wellness / nutrition!

This is a fully remote role and will through December 31, 2022, or possibly longer for the right candidate.

Social Media Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies and execute campaigns to target and reach new audiences
- Leverage existing media channels, including social media, website, and e-newsletter to grow visibility and participation
- Development and execution of a content calendar that aligns with the campaigns overall strategy
- Compose and schedule daily content for all social platforms
- Develop, schedule and distribute weekly e-newsletter
- Define KPIs and provide regular reports, describing strategies and tactics that best fulfill them
- Understand audience, algorithms and nuances of social platforms and adapt an approach to improve performance including updates to content, messaging, posting schedules, hashtags
- Handle social activities such as organic community management, partner giveaways and influencer programs across all social platforms
- Manage a small budget and make recommendations for spending and/or rationale for additional funds for paid media, partnerships, influencers, videos
- Management of creative assets for paid and earned media
- Coordination with paid media agency and PR resources
- Management of website content and site optimization to increase visits, downloads, and improve user experience
- Support growth of programs, partners, and resources via promotion on social media

Social Media Marketing Manager Qualifications:
- 5+ years work experience in digital and social media marketing
- Passion for marketing and metrics
- Hands-on experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
- Knowledge Wordpress, MailChimp, Hootsuite, Canva, Sprout Social, MS Office
- Analytical, data and metrics focused
- Technical knowledge of SEO and SEM
- Strong writing, messaging and communications skills targeting different platforms and audiences
- Ability to effectively multi-task, project manage, and shift priorities as needed to meet campaign goals
- Self-starter, put processes in place and develop processes where none exist today
- Must be a builder and hands-on tactician
- Strong relationship building skills
