Are you a designer (UX, not visual!) who wants to solve complex design problems?

Do you want to work on products that move $9 trillion in transactions daily?

Our client, a global financial services company, is looking for a UX/Product Designer to join their team, freelance to full-time (onsite in NYC or Chicago Tuesdays and Thursdays).

The Product Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and delivering thoughtful user-centered design solutions for complex projects which serve to shape the next generation of our client's digital offerings.

Requirements and Insights from the Hiring Manager
A Masters Degree plus 2-3 years of working experience is sufficient
A design background or credentials in design is preferred
An art or design or architecture background vs. just tech experience is ideal
A strong collaborator and someone who is comfortable in a large matrixed organizations is needed
A portfolio w/ complex application work vs. marketing/advertising work is required
Some sort of enterprise application work is required can't be just Nike etc.
Payments/financial services exp. Is ideal but not required but insurance or healthcare etc. would be helpful
Understands the presentation of information and how a large amount of information should be distilled
Ability to find a way to take unrelated data and make it digestible is key (think transactional, tactical and complex)

UX/Product Designer Responsibilities
Join a team with broad design responsibilities and help to provide value across various capabilities and lines of business
Leverage and contribute to design systems such as the pattern and visual design library
Design and iterate solutions through wireframes, animations, and prototypes at different levels of fidelity articulating complex interactions
Attend frequent design reviews and project updates where you will be required to present your work and collect feedback

During the interviews, the hiring manager will ask, Tell me about the team you worked with - who did you collaborate with? so be prepared to discuss the process and who the stakeholders were, did you work as a team, etc.

This is a freelance to full-time UX/Product Designer opportunity starting ASAP and the team is actively interviewing!
