Our client, a premium television network, is seeking a freelance Digital Production Manager to join their team for 6-8 months of work (40 hours / week), with the possibility to extend!

**Please note: The ideal candidate will be able to commute to the clients office in Manhattan once a week or once every other week for team meetings, creative reviews, etc. You will need to work off of your own equipment with your own software licenses for the Microsoft Office Suite and have access to the Google Suite, Box and Dropbox.**

The Digital Production Manager is responsible for:

- Spearheading brand GFX (motion and static) projects, including managing and overseeing project scope, timeline, assets, workflows, deliverables, resourcing, etc.
- Project managing the work between the creative team, the agency, the senior stakeholders, etc. during the project life cycle to keep things moving along
- Working with the in-house creative team and 3rd party agencies to manage the timeline, workflow & delivery of graphics elements into static and video assets
- Interfacing between internal teams and 3rd party agencies, including the management and transfer of information, specs, assets, etc.
- Handling digital asset management, i.e., storing, organizing, finding, retrieving and sharing digital content (images, videos, PDFs, icons, design files, etc.)
- Building deliverables lists, making sure that deliverables are completed on time and within scope and sharing completed deliverables with the end client
- QCing assets and content, including making sure that all assets and materials have been routed to the appropriate person (both internally and externally)
- Working directly with top-tier executives for stakeholder buy-in, approvals, etc.
- Navigating through sometimes ambiguous project requirements, supporting your creative teams, stakeholders and clients in finding the right approach and guiding the team through it
- Problem solving and mitigating ongoing risk throughout the project life cycle
- Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected

The Digital Production Manager must:

- Have at least 5 years of production management experience, ideally with an agency or in-house team in the entertainment, TV / network or streaming service industry
- Have proven experience managing re-brands, especially for an entertainment product launch
- Have proven experience working with digital files / assets
- Understand the relationship between creative and design, specifically the differences between static and motion work and the related skillsets, softwares, etc. required for both
- Be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Box and Dropbox
- Be a strong communicator and team player that is comfortable working on a small team
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be comfortable playing an integral part of the team to "keep the wheel moving"
- Be willing to learn and adjust processes as needed
- Embrace collaboration and be comfortable working with multiple team members and 3rd party agencies at once
- Be able to shift gears quickly from one project to another when needed, as well as to pick up a project and run with it
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Be comfortable working on tight deadlines with limited hand-holding
- Be able to synthesize client and internal feedback to produce nothing less than high-quality work for all deliverables
