Our client, a financial services company, is looking for an insights-minded Digital Marketing Analyst to join their in-house team full-time, hybrid (onsite in Northern New Jersey a couple of days a week easily commutable by public transportation).

The Digital Marketing Analyst must be able to think strategically and collaborate effectively with the sales team to help the company achieve better target audience engagement across integrated marketing campaigns (web, email and social). The ideal candidate understands the basics of digital marketing, believes in the power of mathematical insight, is a highly organized team player, questions everything, and is always partnering with others to improve results!

Day to day its a lot of dashboard creation, reporting back on what's working and not working. Experience in a role that was responsible for growing/evolving the marketing analytics discipline and an understanding optimization is key.

Digital Marketing Analyst Duties:
Establish, manage a center of excellence for digital marketing measurement, analysis
Collaborate closely w/Digital Experience, Sales, Channel Marketing, Technology, Content teams
Standardize, stabilize basic reporting, analysis and optimization approaches
Regularly review established metrics, analytics w/business stakeholders
Understanding of and ability to convey clear, timely insights via sharp, intuitive data visualizations
Develop, implement tagging specifications, omnichannel marketing measurement plans
Implement, evolve predictive modeling, churn prediction w/Client Info Services team
Manage ongoing persona refinement; understand segmentation, targeting, known user personas
QA all website, landing page, e-mail, social/search campaigns to ensure proper tracking
Work closely w/Content team to sharpen campaign creative, wording based on detailed analysis
Work closely w/social and search agencies to optimize campaign effectiveness real time
Synthesize organic, third party data (search, social, etc.) to measure impact, optimize campaigns
Work w/Marketing and Technology teams to evolve data integrations, reporting dashboards
Research/identify new, improved SaaS capabilities to enhance digital marketing insights
Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to identify opportunities, possible peer weak points

Digital Marketing Analyst Qualifications:
5+ years relevant digital marketing analytics experience
BA/BS degree in marketing, statistics, analytics, mathematics, economics, information management or related field
Fin/Serv and/or asset management experience is a plus but not required
Understanding of how integrated, omnichannel marketing activities work together
Creative/PR/Media agency experience a plus
Experience working in Agile environments
Experience developing and delivering presentations containing strong data visualizations (the design team creates the presentations using the analytics findings)

Paid social and search promotion, organic SEO, e-mail marketing
LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook social platforms
A/B Testing, campaign testing and optimization
Evolving technology and measurement trends in marketing, advertising
E-mail click path analysis
Rapid prototyping
Keyword opportunity and analysis
Cookie management
Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager
Google Visual Studio, Google Ads
Adobe Analytics (Omniture), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Power BI (Microsoft) strongly preferred but they can train someone on it
R Studio, Python
Sprinklr, Hootsuite or similar social media management application
Social listening applications and processes
