Our social media giant client seeks a Marketing Coordinator to join their team in this 6 month freelance role!

This role will be 100% remote, but you must be based in the following approved location(s):
New York, NY
Baltimore, MD
Boston, MA

Los Angeles, CA
San Diego, CA

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
- Manage marketing campaigns and promotions for internal updates, social media campaigns, and trade show collateral.
- Assist with branding and developing of marketing campaigns dedicated to heightened branding awareness, cultivating leads, enhancing partner relationships, and increasing sales efforts.
- Write and manage content for online social media outlets
- Increase online awareness and branding by utilizing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
- Ability to strategize on marketing campaigns and see through inception to press. Must be able to creatively write content and then create a finished product to be sent out for marketing purposes.
- Ability to head up marketing projects within deadline and budget.
- Create and publish compelling, marketing content (e.g., posts, messaging, guides, digital, etc.) for supplier diversity program
- Support team comms and marketing requests (presentations, talking points, program overviews, etc.)
- Provide timely updates on impact and activities across internal comms channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners on opportunities to leverage and scale work via major marketing moments, campaigns and channels to reach relevant audiences
- Manage production schedule and supplier performance for marketing projects
- Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned
- Stay abreast of marketing trends, geopolitics and technology trends in the marketing

The ideal Marketing Coordinator should possess the following:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing or advertising, including communications, product marketing, account or strategic planning in advertising agencies, marketing organizations or industry associations
- Experience creating and publishing social media content for large brands
- Experience running advertising campaigns
- Experience in drafting editorial calendars
- Proven project management experience and prioritization skills
