Our client, a global digital learning company, is looking to hire a full-time detail oriented Director of Product Management, eCommerce, hybrid (onsite a couple of days a week in Hudson County, easily commutable).

The Director of Product Management, eCommerce will join their Global Digital Channels and Experience team and be responsible for defining, communicating, and managing execution of the direct-to-consumer (DTC) eCommerce product roadmaps so tech experience is helpful.

Qualified candidates must have a strong understanding of product management and a strong knowledge of eCommerce best practices, industry trends and actively contribute to building a world-class, consumer grade eCommerce experience.

Director of Product Management, eCommerce Requirements:
7+ years of relevant experience (in Product Management, or similar role in Software, SaaS or Technology related industries)
Outstanding structured project management skills are desirable
Proven ability to collaborate with Technical, Design and Business teams to drive desired outcomes
Proven ability to coordinate backlog management and prioritization across diverse (sometimes competing) stakeholders
Strong understanding of eCommerce system architecture and in-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
Strong experience with design thinking framework and A/B, MVT and other testing methods
Strong experience with JIRA, Confluence and roadmap planning tools (like Aha!) is strongly desired, along with a robust understanding of Agile scrum, SDLC methodologies and eCommerce and content management platforms (Hybris & AEM)

Director of Product Management, eCommerce Responsibilities:
Gain a holistic understanding of customers needs and identify the most optimal user experience required to support that, with a keen eye for building beautiful, scalable products
Bridge the technology and business worlds by breaking down complex problems to outline the key business requirements and articulate them into technical features in a holistic product roadmap to drive prioritized implementation
Envision, manage and communicate priorities, roadmap and eCommerce product strategy to business and technology stakeholders
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional team members to gather and prioritize eCommerce roadmap features in support of the product strategy and business goals
Manage a team of Business Analysts and collaborate with various internal departments to drive ongoing development of the eCommerce platform on web and native mobile experience
Communicate and demonstrate product release scope and value to key stakeholders
Drive continuous improvement and optimize customer experience and financial outcomes based on performance and business outcome based KPIs, best practices, competitive landscape and market opportunity
Evaluate multiple internal/external data points to inform critical thinking and create compelling innovative solutions to identified problems

Soft skills: proactive, ability to level up and down, adaptability
