Our client, a media company, is looking for a full-time Associate Account Director to join their in-house team, onsite 2-3 days a week in NY (Rockland County).

The Associate Account Director will report to the VP, Client Management and will support and nurture long-term relationships with clients communicating and engaging with clients, agencies, and interdepartmental colleagues to drive client engagement. There is joint responsibility with the VP for revenue growth and profit goals on a core group of accounts. The AAD will also aid in department-wide initiatives as well as supports other Account Directors on businesses where time allows.

Associate Account Director Responsibilities
Supports VP & SVP, Client Management in building and managing complex multi-party relationships with enterprise accounts and their agency partners
Articulates value proposition and capabilities in an easy to understand and cohesive manner
Develops a deep understanding of client and agency dynamics, client decision-makers and transactional life cycles
Maintains an understanding of clients brands, competition, industries, and marketing objectives
Generates and maintains timely and accurate reports/documentation using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for internal and external use
Develops and presents business reviews and executive summaries as needed
Fosters strong cross-functional teamwork across departments to organize the resources needed to ensure the clients requirements are met
Serves as an escalation point both internally and externally and manages delicate situations with purpose and poise

Associate Account Director Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience preferred; concentration in advertising, marketing, or finance/economics a plus
2 - 5 years of related experience required (advertising agency or client/relationship management a plus
Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Proactive team member who takes initiative and follows through on projects
Proficiency in Salesforce a plus
Willing to travel (up to 10% of the time but none at first)
