Our client, a global financial services company, has two full-time Digital Product Manager openings on their team (hybrid, onsite in NYC a couple of days a week) to define and execute the strategy for deciding how features, offers, placements and messages are contextually exposed within the digital channels on the Digital Channels team.

We are seeking out individuals who are responsible for making products better, smarter and more personalized by leveraging a deep understanding of customer needs, data intelligence, and how to create excellence at scale. These two Digital Product Managers will play the air traffic controller roles for the customer, always keeping in mind 'Will this fatigue the customer? How do we decide what the right thing is for the customer?' then interface with the business units and lines of business (LOBs) to determine the objectives and key results.

Must-Have Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in product management or product strategy
A proven track record of using data to create customer-focused features and experiences
Experience with A/B testing set-up, tools, and assessment
Bachelors degree required

Other Preferred Qualifications:
Strong independent self-direction balanced with knowing the importance of teamwork and collaboration
Experience in or a passion for personalization and recommendation-driven experiences
Ability to make recommendations and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping priorities, and clearly communicate those ideas

Preferred Soft Skills:

Show an interest in growth & aspirational advancement
Show interest in illuminating ideas for other people vs. waiting to be illuminated

Within the group there are various functions and these two Digital Product Manager (web and mobile) needs fit in as follows...

1) The first role is execution-focused own it end to end
Understand how it works, work w/ engineering teams, design, copy, etc. + communicate w/ LOB owner
Testing it, answering questions true product management
Delivering what is asked and looking and the process/how things are done
Applying thought leadership and analysis to make it better

2) The second role is strategically-focused through a product lens
Be an expert on this ecosystem, understand the players and the existing logic
Must understand the roadmaps and releases and what's coming up to identify gaps
Be the face of the group with the various LOBs but know partners and their needs
Understand partner's pain points and offer strategic recommendations w/ benefits
Bridge gap between ecosystem partners and business partners to build up expertise, forward thinking
