Our client is a major retailer seeking a Senior UX Design Manager for a full-time role that will go onsite 1-2x/week into one of the offices (NYC, Seattle, or San Francisco).

The Senior UX Design Manager will join an innovation team focused on improving shopping experiences for customers through Voice and Text.

The Senior UX Design Manager will:
- Mentor a small team of UX professionals
- Collaborate with product team on conversational experiences
- Create and facilitate workshops to identify objectives, opportunities, and solutions
- Create a consistent conversational experience through adhering to brand voice and bot capabilities
- Develop understanding of how usability relates to a diverse group of people
- Define and execute processes to train, test, design, and analyze conversations

The Senior UX Design Manager must have:
- 10+ years of experience as a UX Writer, UX Designer, CX Designer, Conversational Designer, or similar for a consumer-centric product or business (startup is a plus)
- Experience in shopping or retail is preferred, or experience using internal tooling/systems
- 3+ years of experience managing people
- Experience in a lean or agile environment
- Process-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset
