Our client, an investment management firm, is currently seeking to hire a VP, Marketing with financial experience to join their team full time.

Please note this is a hybrid onsite / remote opportunity in NYC with 3 days in the office, 2 from home.

The VP, Marketing should have excellent knowledge of the financial services industry, and experience marketing to the retail (financial advisors), RIA, institutional and offshore channels. The VP, Marketing will be responsible for obtaining compliance review of marketing pieces and will establish strong working relationships with the various distribution channels, proposing ideas for marketing and sales campaigns.

Responsibilities:
- Join a marketing team of about 10, reporting into the SVP of Marketing
- Contribute marketing ideas and content for drip email campaigns and develop marketing materials or for new product launches
- Write copy to accompany weekly reports or edit copy from Market Strategist as needed for reports/content
- Work with compliance on approvals for marketing materials across various distribution channels
- Track and analyze engagement of email campaigns and perform A/B testing
- Produce short videos featuring Portfolio Managers, Analysts and Market Strategist discussing market developments, innovation or other relevant topics
- Develop content ideas and develop a pipeline/schedule for video releases
- Review social media posting plan for consistency with company messaging and overall appropriateness of content
- Edit blogs, commentaries, white papers, press releases and other content as needed
- Contribute content about sales success stories or other company topics for intranet

Requirements:
- 10+ years experience within marketing, including digital marketing within the financial asset management industry
- Undergraduate Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above in a 4.0 scale
- Experience with developing, implementing, and executing email campaigns
- Strong analytical and project management skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret marketing and business-related journals, financial reports
- Ability to interpret complex concepts and data and develop and effectively create/edit marketing collateral
- Ability to pivot and handle multiple projects with attention to detail and accurately from one project to another
- FINRA Series 7 and 24 license is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Salesforce.com, Pardot - B2B marketing automation by Salesforce, Oracle Eloqua, and Marketo is required
- Proficient in Salesforce.com and CRM marketing best practices
