Our client, a financial services company, is looking for a Broadcast Communications Coordinator to join their team for a year, 40 hours/week, remote for now but eventually onsite in NYC.

The ideal Broadcast Communications Coordinator has hands-on experience in audio broadcast management and studio operations, can navigate a large organization and establish relationships and thrives in a fast-paced, newsroom atmosphere!

The Broadcast Communications Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the daily operation of our clients audio broadcast channel and propel its evolution to meet long-term objectives.

A working knowledge of/passion for the global financial markets, economics and public policy is helpful since it will need to be applied to the internal and external-facing audio programming the Coordinator will produce.

Broadcast Communications Coordinator Duties
Support Senior Communications Manager and provide solutions for audio broadcast studio needs as they arise
Liaise with internal partners (including Investment Bank and Asset Management) and external partners to coordinate and schedule audio content (both live broadcasts and pre-recordings)
Host and produce daily audio programs (including public-facing podcasts), that involve research (analysts, strategists, and economists), product and sales desk specialists, external portfolio managers and thought-leadership partners
Assist with writing of scripts, interview questions and general talking points
Produce and catalog monthly programming metrics
Create and distribute daily schedule of programming
Create and distribute daily market update communication
Additional duties as required

Broadcast Communications Coordinator Qualifications
Three years of related experience in financial markets, operations and/or audio broadcasting
Degree in field of communications, marketing, finance, and/or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of the global financial markets, economics, and public policy, along with the wealth management industry
Must have excellent broadcast / public speaking demeanor, proven leadership skills, team-first attitude, and the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
A desire to learn new technologies, processes and/or procedures as they are implemented
Strong situational awareness along with verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and external partner firms
Experience building schedules and managing deliverables
Workload could at times include early mornings
Experience with Adobe Audition is a plus

This Broadcast Communications Coordinator role reports to the Head of Broadcast Communications and is lasting at least a year!
