Our client, a PR and Creative Agency in NYC is seeking Senior-Director level Digital Strategists with expertise in Social Media to join their team full time.

If you have management experience, can foster strong client relationships, have experience with social and influencer campaigns, and excellent project management and organizational skills, the role is for you!

This role is hybrid onsite and remote (discuss with your manager) and a workstation will be provided.

Senior Social Media Strategist Role:
- Developing strategy for social media content, paid media, banners, mobile, streaming, and influencer campaigns.
- Assisting with project management in many different work streams including managing content production process (photoshoots, video)
- Overseeing a community manager - managing and mentoring duties
- Tying results and findings back to client business goals
- Attendance at special events + activations (virtual and in-person)
- 4+ years of experience working in social media, in an agency setting or in-house
- Experience with social media and content strategy (focus on organic social)
- Experience overseeing the social media content production process for a brand, managing photoshoots or video shoots
- Deep understanding of social media measurement and how to tie results back to client and business goals
- Experience managing influencer marketing programs/campaigns
- Experience with paid social
- Excellent client service skills and experience
- Management experience and good mentoring skills
- organized, communicative project leader; self-directed, motivated, takes ownership of projects and follows through

Director of Digital Strategy Role:
- Run critical pieces of the social media
business, managing account teams and being a client counselor
- Act as key member of new business pitches
- Create and sell in social media marketing programs with synergies between influencer + organic social + paid social, while leveraging your influencer connections and networks
- Create and track budgets; understand profitability, Set goals and KPIs
- Attend special events + activations (virtual and in-person)
- Manage up when needed
Solid foundation in social media strategy (focus on organic social), marketing,
content strategy
- Have 6-9 years of experience
- Have experience overseeing the social media content production process for a brand, and overseeing creative teams, photoshoots and video shoots
- Have experience managing a team of 3-4 direct reports
- Have experience and/or passionate about the lifestyle, food/bev industries
