Our client, a boutique creative agency that is grounded in radical humanity, is seeking a Senior Creative Strategist with strong experience working with current clients and pitching new business to join their team.

**Please note: in this role you will be required to be in the office in Manhattan Tuesday-Thursday each week! A laptop will be provided to you!**

The Senior Creative Strategist will be responsible for:

NEW BUSINESS
- Becoming a valuable driver of new business efforts - proactively offering up ways to bring more client leads into our sales funnel through innovation and strategic thinking
- Owning specific new business pitches, pulling the best resources within the business together as a virtual team and at other times, acting autonomously and with accountability for the end product
- Working closely with the agency founder to create simple, clear and well-written proposals, reverse briefs & agency credentials that emphasize strategic thinking and
original creative concepts
- Increasing our new business sales funnel and building our new client relationships by enhancing our strategic value - producing relevant, engaging insight/research around culture, audiences and brands
- Presenting ideas, strategy, creative concepts and our credentials confidently and with authority both internally and externally to clients


LIVE CLIENT WORK
- Leading live campaigns from a strategic and creative perspective, pushing clients when needed while becoming a trusted pair of safe hands
- Working collaboratively and in lock step with our accounts, production and creative teams
- Structuring, writing, and refining creative briefs honing on key objectives and KPIs
- Guiding client journeys to become more culturally fluent to make them relevant now and into the future
- Structuring and preparing ideation documents as well as leading ideation sessions, client presentations, and workshops
- Helping translate client feedback and steward the creative and strategic integrity of the work
- Refining the strategic vision on projects, making recommendations to meet key objectives
- Scaling ideas into long-term brand platforms, informing budgets, timeline, client resources, and other business parameters
- Structuring decks, table of contents, program/activation/campaign plans, and toolkits
- Collaborating on content or experiential programming concepts and executions
- Leading or direct outreach to partners, influencers/ambassadors, collaborators, and
communities, providing best-practice guides
- Closely collaborating with creative teams, producers, artists, and partners by providing input on creative executions
- Structuring metrics for marketing initiatives, implement tools for measurement and reporting
- Delivering projects on time and on budget allocated to strategy
- Assisting resourcing, recruiting, and management of strategy team


OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Using and manage online project management software, collaboration tools, calendars, file-sharing, time tracking, and company expense tracking
- Collaborating with the Head of Creative Strategy to identify long and short term project needs, staff and resource tools
- Effectively working across several projects, brands and internal teams concurrently ensuring excellence in output and world class creative work product
- Communicating openly and effectively with internal teams to reach the best outcomes on briefs and creative delivery
- Working with global teams to promote participation in the Global Agency and striving to establish global ways of working
- Avidly reading and researching industry articles and trade press to keep up with the latest market trends and insights and find ways to share with the rest of the agency
- Nurturing, training and leading junior strategy team members within the business and driving best practices in all aspects of deliverables




The Senior Creative Strategist must:

- Have a minimum of 4 years of professional marketing and / or agency experience leading strategy
- Have proven experience handling multi-million dollar projects with high end brands
- Be proficient in the Google Suite and Microsoft Suite (specifically PowerPoint)
- Have proven experience working across a range of clients (sports, luxury, fashion, jewlery, luxury goods, tech, etc.) concepting strategies / campaigns across influencer, content and brand
- Previous experiential campaign work is a huge plus
- Previous experience in the entertainment industry is a plus
- Be able to build trust with clients, identifying opportunities and proactively pitching ideas that are client specific before they have the need
- Be a proven leader with team management experience who can drive a project forward while fostering the talents of our creatives team
- Be able to create, and contribute to, decks for presentations (new client pitches, presentations of ideas to existing clients, etc.) that craft a narrative
- Have strong verbal communication and writing skills in both written and email
- Have excellent client management skills which inspires confidence and trust from clients and employees alike
- Have excellent client service and relationship building qualities
- Be able to lead clients through challenging and innovative projects and campaigns
- Be comfortable working with multiple clients at once and be able to multi-task across multiple projects, clients and teams
- Be extremely collaborative, someone who is comfortable working in a team setting and prioritizes getting the work done rather than individual praise
- Be level-headed and maintain a healthy level of optimism
- Have a razor sharp attention to detail, picking up things that others might miss
- Have a high EQ that helps you gauge the health of client relationships and the subtle shifts in sentiment, confidence and buy-in
- Be very ambitious and growth oriented (both personally and professionally)
- Be an active listener that can absorb information thats shared, directly and indirectly, pivoting when needed to solve a client's problems
- Be comfortable working across multiple time zones (teams in London, LA and Sydney)
