Production Designer (Digital / Print)

Our client, one of the largest sports entertainment
companies, is seeking a Production Designer to join the team 40 hours a week for at least 6 months possible extension. This is a hybrid role, offsite as of now but will need the ability to go into the office 1-2x per week as needed.

The Production Designer is passionate about sports, is full of ideas, and can thrive in a start-up environment. The primary focus will be the ideation and design of compelling campaigns across all digital properties across the brand. As a hands-on designer, you will bring a mix of marketing expertise and business understanding to the position, going one better for the brand and that of valued customers.

Responsibilities:
- Design all digital production (web, digital marketing, social, media) and print for retail
- Collaborate with the marketing, media, and digital teams in developing plans and briefs, analyzing results, and identifying opportunities
- Prioritize work and resources across engagements based on short- and long-term needs, establishing production schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters, and production departments
- Conduct brainstorming sessions with creative team, maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives in a fiscally responsible manner
- Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for visually sophisticated audiences
- Present, or oversee presentation of final concepts, and obtain approvals for deliverables

Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of related experience
- An extensive portfolio of ad banner sets with good sense of design
- Top notch experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to build out consistent looking sets in multiple sizes
- Attention to detail, pixel perfect detail and ability to follow direction
- A strong understanding of print vs digital designing and pre- press production
- Understanding of packaging final print and digital files
- Strong understanding of high resolution vs. low resolution
- Strong understanding of CMYK vs RGB
- Strong understanding of working within smart objects, art boards, exporting, size requirements, file types/jpg/png/svg etc. etc., maintaining consistent naming conventions, strong detail to maintaining clean files within all software, i.e., remembering to delete unnecessary layers and folders
- A working knowledge in Figma and Sketch as well, but not necessary
- Being able to work and produce within tight deadlines with little to no errors
- Great communication skills
- Understanding or RG and legal compliance within the casino/sports gambling industry is a plus but not necessary
