Our client, an on-demand startup accelerator and incubator for brands within a venture capital firm is seeking a Social Media Manager / Community Manager to join their team.

This is ideally a hybrid schedule with 2days/week onsite in NYC and 3days/week remote. This opportunity will be 40hrs/week for 3+ months with potential to turn full time for the right person.

Social Media Manager / Community Manager Responsibilities:
- Work across a range of start up companies (all different verticals) to assist with social media management as they are building their brands and audience
- Develop, schedule & post daily content for posts and stories on Instagram and Tik Tok
- Focus primarily on community management, engaging with the customers via comments / likes and responding appropriately on the brand's behalf and in Brand Voice
- Monitor & manage daily Customer Service inquiries on all social platforms
- Help build out & templatize answers to FAQs for all social platforms
- Work on building out a road map for community management for these brands, assist with strategy input as well
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager and the social media agency on influencer partnerships
- Support content initiatives across brand verticals (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Linkedin)
- Eager to learn and grow / expand capabilities under the social media umbrella

Social Media Manager / Community Manager Requirements:
- 4+ years of well rounded social media experience, with specific experience handling community management for a range of clients, ideally wellness
- Proficiency with all social media platforms (FB/IG/Tik Tok)
- Ideally have agency experience and a finger on the pulse of social media
- Eager and interested in learning about these start up brands, and helping them get off the ground when it comes to their social media channels
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to be client facing and nimble to changes
- Ideally have some strategy experience to come in and hit the ground running
- Strong interpersonal skills, calm under pressure and willing to assist with ad hoc needs for the common goal of growth
