Our client, a nonprofit engineering organization, is seeking a Web Content Manager with strong event-related technology experience (website building and maintenance, site operations and optimization, etc.) and excellent project management skills to join their team.

**Please note that this role is currently fully remote but you may need to commute to the client's office in NYC in the future for meetings, events, etc.. A laptop will be provided to you!**

The Web Content Manager will be responsible for:

- Managing and executing the implementation and maintenance for multiple event websites across the full event lifecycle stages
- Launching each new event website, maintaining and expanding existing sites during lead up to the event, maintaining the site during and immediately after the event and, finally, executing the post-event changeover to the next event in the series
- Executing the production workflows for updates to website content, images, and multimedia
- Providing production support to email team as needed for event-branded newsletters
- Working with the appropriate CMS to build out new event sites or pages and integrating the site with existing event tools where applicable
- Building, updating and reviewing external event tool webpages to ensure they are created correctly and integrate with main event website
- Effectively managing data integrity points in accordance with established event policies and processes
- Maintaining and updating integration links to external tools
- Maintaining onsite resources area with supplied content
- Deploying lead generation forms as needed
- Ensuring tracking and analytics are in place
- Collaborating with Marketing Operations counterpart(s) to identify and document new marketing technology, enhancement and content needed to maintain and grow the event website
- Working with UI/UX and Development to build out plans for enhancements to the functionality of the websites, including integrations
- Managing production timelines coinciding with event and marketing schedules to ensure goals are met and work is executed within established service delivery times, processes, and scope
- Ensuring consistency and accuracy across all assigned sites
- Ensuring quality control and digital best practices are met on all assigned sites
- Working closely with the product leads of individual events or event series to train and educate on digital best practices and ensure the event sites are performing optimally
- Ensuring technical and content standards are applied to each event website
- Coordinating the assets and tools each event business will be using at the portfolio level, to be evaluated on an annual or semi-annual basis
- Working with the SEO Specialist to perform ongoing keyword research, including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities, analyzing keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors, and making sure content is optimized for SEO
- Monitoring site performance to identify, document, and/or troubleshoot issues
- Supporting the team with webinar production and set-up as needed based on current inventory demands

The Web Content Manager must:

- Have a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated success in systems management in a growth environment
- Previous event experience is preferred
- Have working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
- Have proven experience working within a CMS, experience with Kentico or Hubspot is a plus
- Familiarity with Zoom preferred
- Knowledge of Cvent, Pheedloop, or Vfair is a plus
- Be able to work on multiple projects at once, set goals, work proactively and independently, problem solve, improvise, and function as part of a team that must perform under pressure
- Have proven experience with and knowledge of virtual event platforms, event registration applications, and mobile event apps
- Experience with event marketing technology and amplification services a plus
- Have a strong knowledge of desktop and mobile best practices including design, UI/UX, production and SEO
- Have a strong knowledge of content workflows
- Have proven experience with digital production
- Knowledge and experience with events and digital content in a media environment a plus
- Have strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
- Experience working on event websites is a plus
- Have excellent project management skills
