eCommerce Manager

Our client, a well-known D2C eCommerce company, is looking for a Website / Content Manager to join their team for at least 6 months with the possibility of extending or converting to full-time.

Their office is located in Hudson County and is easily commutable by public transportation; onsite a couple of days a week is ideal (especially for someone who wants full-time long-term) but not a deal breaker for the immediate need.

The Website / Content Manager will report to the Senior Director, Digital Experience and Performance to inform on deliverables and execution of website projects and initiatives.

Website / Content Manager Duties
? Lead web projects to make sure updates are executed smoothly, on-schedule, and within scope to keep the site fresh, engaging, and relevant
? Partner closely with Creative, Marketing Operations, and WebDev teams to bring projects and designs to life on the website consistent with UX and SEO best practices and style guidelines
? Build, maintain, and execute a global roadmap of web projects, deliverables, and initiatives
? Help with content updates, not HTML but just using their CMS (EPI / Optimizely) to personalize experiences
? Day to day website monitoring and performance, ensuring alignment with the content calendar
? Drive improvements to the digital customer experience (CX), including all customer journeys and conversion points
? Monitor website for technical performance, leading efforts to fix website defects and enhancement requests and work with IT and stakeholders to prioritize issues & QA fixes
? Oversee agile project management for the planning and execution of website initiatives, maintenance, and optimization

Website / Content Manager Qualifications
? Not overwhelmed by the technical components of the role and understands how websites function
? Well-versed in managing third-party vendors and integration tools
? Experience with their CMS EPI is not required but CMS experience is required; they also use
? A technical background is ideal
? Ability to deal with ambiguity and capable of working w/ different personalities
? 5+ years? eCommerce and online merchandising experience, some of it from a direct-to-consumer (D2C) organization
? An understanding of agile methodology is helpful; they use a sprint schedule
