Our client, a global leader in online payment and financial solutions, is looking for a UX / UI Designer to join their rapidly growing payments team. The ideal candiate must have strong UI and visual design chops, as this role is more UI- heavy.

***Please note, this role will be a couple days per week onsite at their office in Berkley Heights, NJ. Proof of vaccination is required in order to be considered for this role.***

In this role, the UX / UI Designer will be dedicated to the payments team, responsible for leading user-centered design projects for well known portfolio of payment products, including identifying customer problem statements, problem discovery, solution generation, concept creation, wireframing, testing, synthesis, iteration, prototyping, heuristic evaluation, competitive analysis, customer journey mapping, applying design systems, and producing deliverables for developmentSpecific responsibilities include:

- understanding business requirement details and technical constraints to advance and iterate design journeys
- lead design of user interfaces for current and future applications
- apply business constraints to design thinking and decisions while maintaining and enhancing quality
- work with partners and stakeholders to scope, analyze and translate user research into product improvements
- work closely with Product and Development teams to ensure designs are translated into elegant, clean products aligned with best products
- facilitating design discussions, initiatives, retrospective and critiques in a fast-paced environment

Requirements for the UX / UI Designer include:

- 2+ years of UI, UX and / or visual design experience, ideally in a B2B and / or financial services; Bachelors degree
- proficient with visualization and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Axure, Invision, Creative Cloud and Abstract
- portfolio that reflects deep understanding of user-centered design methodology and experience with user style guides, low and high fidelity wireframes and pattern libraries
- deep knowledge of mobile, web and native design and general understanding of front end coding technologies
- desire to lead by example, help teammates and manage multiple requests simultaneously
- experience working closely with product teams
