Our client in the tech/security space is looking for a User Researcher to join their growing research team!

The User Researcher will be working with the broader researcher team to identify detailed customer and user segments based on firmographic, demographic and behavioral characteristics.

The main areas you will be delving into are:
1. Understanding the Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) market space. Are we their first SIEM, a complement to their current SIEM, or replacing their SIEM? What compelled them to seek out a new solution?

2. Why customers choose our detection and response offerings. What are the commonalities in digital landscape, program priorities and resources, cybersecurity sophistication, and use cases?

3. How customers are currently achieving success with our detection and response offerings. Which capabilities are currently being used to achieve outcomes? What are the most common configurations of capabilities and use cases? What does product maturity by customer segment actually look like?

The ideal User Researcher will have:
- 5+ years of relevant experience; including experience integrating market and user research into marketing and product strategy.
- A strong competency with quantitative and qualitative research methods, including statistical analysis, customer interviews, contextual inquiry, surveys, heuristic evaluations, and more.
- Confidence in your presentation skills, both verbal and written, and can deliver succinct recommendations to marketing and practice leadership.

This is a remote, 25 hours per week opportunity for the next 3 months (possibly longer) with one of the leading tech companies in Boston!
